We were hosted this weekend by a lovely property with a fabulous staff, The Fairmont Turnberry Isle in Aventura, FL just north of Miami. This resort would be an amazing place for any corporate, association, or other event, even destination weddings!
As you all know, I am a sucker for a hotel pool...this one is by far my top of the list! With a very nice and quiet courtyard pool for those seeking a more peaceful retreat; there exists around the corner a hidden paradise. The Laguna Pool has cabanas (both full size, complete with changing room, flat screen tv's; and what I called "mini-cabanas" surrounding the pool that are upgraded lounges), a great staff to guest ratio, a waterfall, a water slide and a lazy river where you can float through a beautiful landscape of flora and fauna. I couldn't stay away from the lazy river!
As far as the meeting space, and event facilities - also top notch! The
